Nokia HERE Maps for iOS is here!
If you’ve been waiting for a viable alternative to iOS6 Maps app your wait is now over. There’s no Google Maps app yet but Nokia HERE for iOS has been released and is now available for download from the App Store. Earlier this month, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop had announced a rebranded version of company’s mapping service with intentions to release apps for Android and iOS soon. The iOS app is out already while the wait for Android app continues.
The app looks good enough but comparing it to Google Maps would be a bit too early. It can, however, serve as a station till everyone’s favorite maps app arrives on everyone’s favorite app store, Google Maps on the App Store. Here are some of the screenshots of the app:
